And the young BLUES do it too...

Everton's youngsters won the Milk Cup for the fourth time tonight in Coleraine, Northern Ireland and for the second year in a row. Blues starlet Hallam Hope was again the Blues goal scoring sensation as he netted a brace in the 4-1 win over Watford in the Final. Blues Coach Sean Lundon was quick to praise all of his charges though, and he is delighted with their weeks work. The Blues beat Donegal, Spartak Moscow, Swindon, Club Pachuca and Watford in lifting the Cup.

Blues Coach Sean Lundon says: “We’re delighted to win again, it s new experience for most of them, having come away with a mainly new squad. Hallam Hope has done very well, but we won’t be getting too get exited, he has plenty of potential, but he will have plenty of opportunities to keep proving it too. This is fantastic competition and we learn a lot about the boys when we’re away together for the week. It’s demanding and it is a long week, but we do everything right and that helps us do well I think." (31/07/09)
